Samdech Decho Hun Sen was rewarded by the Royal Academy of Cambodia as, "Academician" Member of Cambodia

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Decho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia was honored by His Majesty the King Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneat Norodom Sihamoni as an Academician Member of the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

The declaration ceremony was auspiciously celebrated on 28 April 2010 at the Office of Council of Ministers with the participation of many members of parliament, officers of the Royal Government of Cambodia and professors of the Royal Academy of Cambodia.

Academician, Dr. Khloth Thyda, President of the Royal Academy of Cambodia, firmly announced that this declaration ceremony would be honorably recorded in the Historic Scripture of the Royal Academy of Cambodia. Samdech Decho Hun Sen has strenuously revivified and developed all aspects of the country. Especially, Samdech has successfully resolved and overcome all challenges and difficulties Cambodia has faced so far. Samdech Hun Sen has been a rare and special candidate in comparison to other leaders in the region and internationally. His over 30 years of work experiences have enabled him to identify many major perspectives for developing the country. These perspectives have been developed into three main strategies including: Win Win, Triangular and Rectangular Strategies. Samdech has also been rewarded with many Honorary Doctor Degrees. From the year 2000 to 2007, Samdech has produced 17 volumes of Speeches that contained more than 200 pages and many other scholarships in addition to his major thesis. Consequently, all members of the Royal Academy of Cambodia strongly acknowledged that Samdech has full qualification as an, “Academician”.

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Decho Hun Sen admired that the Royal Academy of Cambodia was the center for high intellectuals with profound experiences and think tank of the country. Samdech Decho furthered that in all circumstances, especially in this globalization era a country can be developed and can be equally integrated into the region and internationally depending on it high intellects and qualified researchers to recommend the Royal Government of Cambodia on the needs of present and future time.

On behalf of the Royal Government of Cambodia, Samdech declared that he would entirely support the Royal Academy of Cambodia. He would firmly encourage this prominent national institution to strengthen its roles as scientific research center and highly qualified human resource developer in order to contribute to the Royal Government of Cambodia developing the country prosperously.

Notably, at present the Royal Academy of Cambodia has the first 14 members of academician in the country. Members of the Royal Academy of Cambodia are elite intellectuals with Doctoral Degree, 10-year seniority as well as high and profound research experiences in culture and sciences. They have actively published 15 categories of book and has strenuously served the country for at least 20 years.
